When you've already worn a meat dress, a Kermit the Frog dress and a bubble dress, how can you possibly wear a plain old wedding gown and expect it to be memorable?

With all the rumors about an upcoming summer wedding for Lady Gaga and boyfriend Taylor Kinney, many are starting to wonder what she'll wear to walk down the aisle.

A source tells The Sun that Gaga thinks, "white is cheesy and wants black and gold silk with all these crazy removable bits."

Now, don't let your imagination get the best of you.
By "crazy removable bits," we're not talking Janet Jackson's Super Bowl halftime style.

The only parts that detach from the dress would be the skirt and train so the singer could switch up her look between the ceremony and reception.

So, is she going to follow standard celebrity protocol and wear Vera Wang?

Not looking like it...Mother Monster reportedly wants friend and fashion designer Donatella Versace to create the custom piece.

Of course, simply deviating from the normal bridal color scheme by wearing black wouldn't be enough for Gaga to feel like she's making a fashion statement. The source also spilled that Gaga wants diamonds sewn into the bodice.

Wow, sounds expensive!
Do you think Gaga should stick with tradition and get married in a white dress or do you like the different design idea?

Xu Rongrong, Visitor,Shop the latest collection of mandarin collar dress from the most popular stores .s said, "We plan to get married this year. We can take care of most of the wedding ourselves. But we think we can still pick up some jewelry and a wedding dress, and there is a wide variety of choices at affordable prices.

There’s something for everyone in the wedding dress section. Some Chinese prefer a more traditional wedding, while others opt for a more western style. Either way, people are willing to spend a lot on weddings in China, due to the rise of the middle class and financial support from parents. Don't sweat the small things
It's understandable that you want every detail of your wedding to be perfect, from the invitations to the napkins. But ask yourself this; is it really worth the stress? Spending hours choosing the font for the save-the-dates or the type of ribbon that's going to wrap around the cutlery could be better spent elsewhere; for example, going for a leisurely lunch with your hubby-to-be, catching up with your bridesmaids over coffee or spending the time choosing more important things such as your wedding dress. No one is going to notice the finer details like you think they will, so what does it really matter if you choose calligraphy or a printed italic font? Or if you opt for plain place cards over patterned? So long as you choose patterns, colours and details belonging to the same theme, your choices won't look out of place.

Don't always put your wedding guests first
Sure, you want to impress your wedding guests and show them a good time,A 2013 evening dress is a style that many are using now! but at what cost? Endlessly fretting about your second cousin's fickle veganism or your friend's date's snobbish food habits will only result in a) an embarrassing meltdown in front of the wedding caterer or b) a rash decision to feed the entire wedding cheese sandwiches. You can only care to a point – it's your wedding after all, and you have been generous enough to want to share it with these people. They will be grateful to have been invited and those with serious concerns or needs will either let you know or they will sort themselves out.A high low prom dresses is the most formal female attire for social occasions. You can't think for other people. The same applies to any tiffs among guests – they're all adults so let them do the worrying rather than you, otherwise it will take up too much of your precious headspace.

Keep things simple
A bridezilla trait is to want to outdo previous weddings you have attended and make yours the best possible. But this competiveness can cause stress as you put more and more pressure on yourself to host the perfect wedding. Do you really need canapés? Do you really have to have different drinks to accompany each course? And is there really a need for three different wedding entertainers throughout the day? With each added extra comes more pressure, so just cover all the basics with perhaps the odd added extra. Sometimes the simplest of weddings can be the most successful, as guests can relax and truly enjoy themselves. Bacon sandwiches and beer? Why not!

Delegate, delegate, delegate
Your bridesmaids aren't just there to look pretty on the day of your wedding you know, they're supposed to be your ladies in waiting. You should employ their help and start delegating tasks to them. Don't stop there either. The best man, your siblings and close colleagues can all pitch in too – many hands make light work remember. Wedding to-dos you could hand out include writing and posting the invitations; collecting the dresses and flowers; buying the disposable cameras; preparing the wedding favours; creating the seating plan and being a point of contact for any guest queries. Understandably there are certain things you will want to do yourself, but everything else can be dished out to reduce your workload. The right red Hot dress supplied on Tbdress will fulfill your complete wants.

There's no such thing as 'too early'
There are no rules which dictate when you should start wedding planning. Within half an hour of your proposal, a year into your engagement or the day before your big day – it's up to you. A good idea though, is to start as early as you can and spread everything out as much as possible. There's nothing worse than feeling pressured into choosing something important due to time restraints. You want to be able to relish in hours of trying on wedding dresses and enjoy whole afternoons wandering round wedding venues. Get the fiddly things out of the way first such as your guest list,A ball gown is the most formal female attire for social occasions. the seating plan and budget and then just plough through the rest in plenty of time. More time equals less stress, plus there's nothing more satisfying that being able to say,Searching some free online pageant dress up games for girls? 'I've done that already!'.

The Duchess of Cambridge said Sunday that she doesn't know the sex of her first child - but she hopes it's a boy.

Her husband Prince William,Beautiful A-line Wedding Dresses however, would prefer a girl.
The former Kate Middleton, who is five months pregnant, made the revelation to a soldier at a St. Patrick's Day ceremony honoring the Irish Guards.

"I asked her 'do you know if it's a girl or boy?' and she said 'not yet,'" said Guardsman Lee Wheeler.Wholesale 2013 wedding dress Online 2011 Free Shipping.

"She said 'I'd like to have a boy and William would like a girl.'"
Wheeler said the duchess told him the couple had not settled on names for the baby, who will be third in line to the British throne.

The duchess wore a green dress coat and a shamrock lapel pin as she presented sprigs of shamrock to soldiers in the annual ceremony at a barracks in Aldershot, southern England. She also pinned a spring on the collar of the regiment's mascot, an Irish wolfhound named Domhnall.

Kate suffered a minor mishap when one of her high heels became briefly stuck in a drainage grille. The duchess leaned on her husband as she wrenched it loose.

The royal St. Patrick's Day tradition was started by Queen Alexandra, the wife of King Edward VII, in 1901.

The National Australia Bank online retail sales index found Australians spent $13 billion over the web in the past year, an equivalent of 5.8 per cent of the retail market, excluding groceries.

More than 70 per cent of the sales were from Australian-based retailers, an increase over previous reports.

Mr Titley said over the past five years it was important to have an "integrated approach".

"I think the best way to do it is have that bricks-and-mortar store and the online store -- especially as far as our business is concerned, wedding gowns strapless, sweetheart neckline beach formal dresses evening 01210. that's the way to go," he said.

It's not just in the country that retailers are moving online to bolster their suburban stores. Brisbane-based high-end clothing outlet Ultra Suite is also making its online mark, selling and spruiking its formal, cocktail and wedding dresses to a wider market than its two inner-city shopfronts would otherwise allow.

Owner Michael Notman said online sales were about 10 per cent of turnover but about 60 per cent of buyers in the shops had researched online before they went in. Despite past claims that Jennifer Anniston and her fiance Justin Theroux are planning to wed in a small ceremony, a new report indicated that the lovebirds may have already tied the knot.

A source close to the couple revealed to Ok! magazine "Jennifer and Justin shared a small commitment 'ceremony' together over Christmas."

The source also said that the initial ceremony took place at their Bel Air home shortly after a vacation in Mexico. The gathering was "top-secret" and only included a group of close friends and family members.

Aniston, 44,affordable one shoulder wedding dresses and Theroux, 41, were still looking for locations in Hawaii for a more formal ceremony, according to the Hollywood Life.

"Justin has his heart set on doing it in Hawaii. It's his favorite place in the world. He's lived there on and off over the years and even owns a cute little cottage on Kauai,Beautiful Sheath Wedding Dresses" an insider said.

Other sources suggested that Aniston wanted a getaway wedding to ease the publicity but that she would have preferred to marry in Los Angeles and have a ceremony at home. Details also recently emerged about the Friend's star wedding dress and that she chose Valentino to design her gown.

"Jen and Justin want to make it a really special day and they're very excited. Apparently, Jennifer has been working with Valentino on a dress and has been heavily involved in the designing process, while Justin intends to wear an Armani tuxedo," a source said.

The actress wore a strapless floor-length red Valentino gown to the Oscars on Feb. 24, as a thank you to the designer who has reportedly been designing her dress for her big wedding date. Dazzling on the red carpet, Aniston said her decision to wear the dress was all about comfort.

The "Dukes of Melrose" hold many style secrets of fashion's royalty, and the duo of Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos dish some of them on their new Bravo series that follows the owners of Los Angeles' famous Decades vintage store.

They love the gowns, handbags, jackets and shoes they're selling to their upscale and style-savvy clientele, but they love the stories of the lives the clothes have lived even more.
They gossip about the Marni wedding dress they've bought and sold, and bought and sold again. "No. 1 is divorced, No. 2 was over the dress and No. 3 still has it," Garkinos says.

Sometimes they have to run interference between families: There's a gaggle of socialite sisters with similar tastes and a competitive spirit, each one trying to top the others. Sometimes, they'll have to stop a sister from buying something from another sister's stash.

It's no problem to call them style matchmakers, either. Customers get to know the look of their favorite sellers. At a recent trunk show, a client couldn't wait to snap up the goat-fur Roberto Cavalli jacket of a woman she'd met at an earlier Decades event.
Nicole Miller attended the same trunk show. Garkinos and Silver consider it a badge of honor that designers shop at their store for inspiration. Alexander Wang, for one, felt like he had made it to the big league when he saw his own merchandise on Decades' racks, they say.

Donatella Versace was refused entry. She came on a Sunday, Garkinos recalls, and he was wearing — gasp — overalls because they had been painting the store. "I told her, 'The store isn't ready to be shopped,' and she came back the next day."

Silver opened Decades in 1997. Garkinos joined two years later. They have a shared passion for good fashion: pieces that last, make an impact and deserve to be enjoyed more than once.
"Yes, there are some people who are a little freaked out by the idea of vintage, but we're shopping from really good closets," Silver says, "and these clothes are usually from happy moments. A couture gown from the 1950s is just embedded with history — and probably champagne.mori lee bridesmaid dresses

He defines clothes in this way: "Used" means something has been worn.Rina di Montella 1512 "Retro" means it's from a certain period. And "vintage" means something with value and designer integrity — and quite possibly from an important house.

Garkinos says age isn't a criterion. For example, a Prada nylon backpack from the late '90s is vintage — and so might one of the ombre bags from 2008. It also can be expensive — in the four-digit category — and, occasionally, even more.
Vintage clothes, especially in Hollywood, provide the opportunity for a little less cookie-cutter dressing. Some people like walking into the room knowing they're not wearing a "trend," although not enough starlets understand that, Silver says. "I want to see more people have their Cher moments, the Celine Dion-in-the-backward-Galliano moment."

Garkinos muses how some clothes and accessories sell the moment they come in the door,Beautiful The Latest Wedding Dresses while others, including a custom-made Versace suitcase that was made for Prince and even has his initials and a purple lining inside, don't — though eventually there's the right buyer for everything. (It took almost two years to find the now very proud owner of the Prince piece.)

Stella McCartney, Rochas, Alexander McQueen and Vuitton seem to be labels they can't hold on to, while Marc Jacobs, beloved by the industry and handbag shoppers around the world, can take a lot longer to sell.

"Dukes of Melrose" (10:30 p.m. EDT) includes that sort of "voyeuristic experience into the world of couture clients," Silver explains.

"We are in the business of storytelling," Garkinos adds, and where better to do that than TV? They definitely seem like natural showmen — outgoing, sometimes snarky, wedding dresses from china with fabulous wardrobes.

Actually, though, they were at first turned off by the idea of a reality show.
"We didn't want it to be a show that makes you dumber,Beautiful Sheath Wedding Dresses" says Silver, who went on a bit of a rant about entertainment that caters to the lowest common denominator. However, he and Garkinos believe they have enough credibility to be the kind of TV that can teach a broader audience to appreciate fashion as an art.

How about the name of the show?
"Melrose" is the famous shopping street where Decades is located, and "Dukes" came about because Silver is known as "the king of vintage" and Garkinos as "the king of consignment."

Safeguard Properties of Cleveland bills itself as the largest privately held mortgage field services company in the country, which means it's inspecting and maintaining huge volumes of defaulted and foreclosed properties.

The downside of being so busy? Rare cases such as this one, described by The Austin American-Statesman in Texas.

From the story:
The workers who were supposed to clear out his neighbor's foreclosed house instead cleaned out Mike Moors' barn, making off with his wife's wedding dress, their love letters, his boat, his backhoe, the works.

Moors wants to know where his stuff is and when he'll get it back. The answer might be never. Can I trust buying a Foral gown online ?This elegant selection of long sleeves wedding dress will have you looking stunning for the big day!

“Are my things in storage somewhere?” asked Moors, 53, an unemployed construction worker who has been asking the same questions for more than a month. “Have they sold it at auction? How do I explain to my wife that she may never get her wedding dress back? There were many other heirlooms taken that are priceless.”
Safeguard hired the crew to prepare the house next door for foreclosure in December, according to the newspaper. The company acknowledges the error “and says an insurance company is verifying Moors' claim and will soon have information for him.”

Mr. Moors estimates the value of the missing items at $150,000; that figure has not been verified. He filed a claim last month against Safeguard and the lender, CitiMortgage
Diane Roman Fusco, a spokeswoman for Safeguard, this afternoon issued to Crain's the following statement regarding the case:

"Safeguard immediately acknowledged the error in this case and has been working with Mr. Moors to resolve it as quickly as possible. Respecting confidentiality and privacy of the individuals involved, Safeguard does not publicly disclose details about personal matters or properties under our care.

Travel + Leisure just named Provenance to its list of the country's best museum restaurants. Here's how it describes the upscale locale:

Pregnant model Danielle Lloyd is selling off the dresses worn by her bridesmaids at her wedding to Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jamie O'Hara for charity.
The former Big Brother star, who is expecting her third child with O'Hara, is auctioning the four pink dresses on eBay.

The 100 per cent silk dresses come with Swarovski detail and were designed by Eleni bridal costing more than 2,000.

They were worn on her big day in May last year, in a fairytale wedding. Danielle's wedding gown was also made by the London based designer.
She is asking for a starting bid of 1,500, with a buy it now price of 2,200 and said she was going to add more items soon.

Danielle, 29, who lives in Sutton Coldfield and will soon have three children under four, says she's ditched her partying lifestyle to enjoy being a mum — to Harry, two, and Archie, 18 months.

She said: “I don't really feel like a WAG any more. I'm out of it all, living in Birmingham and just being a mum.
The celebrity couple married at Syon Park in Brentford, South West London and the wedding was attended by a whole host of reality TV stars including Katie Price, Michelle Heaton, Lizzie Cundy, Phill Turner, Amy Childs and Nicola McLean.

The chief bridesmaid was her cousin,Can I trust buying a Foral gown online ? Jodie Tennant, her other bridesmaids were best friend Leanne Lee, sister in law, Steph O'Hara and friend, India Lewis.
The former Miss England wrote on the website: “These four bridesmaids dresses are the actually dresses wore at Danielle Lloyd's wedding day all have been custom made by Eleni bridal and cost over 2,000 each.

“They have Swarovski detail on shoulder clasps, centre piece and buttons. Dresses have fish tail design and range from size 10 12. They can all be easily altered. Our gorgeous Off the Shoulder cocktail dresses are perfect for wedding, proms or any occasion when you need a little extra warmth and glamour. All amazing condition. Money raised will be going to charity. Thank you, Danielle.”
The full time mum, who has two boys Archie, aged two, and one year old Harry, announced recently she was expecting another baby.

The only picture I remember of Bess is with my grandmother standing outside the church with their “Sunday” hats on.We offer a wide array of cheap one shoulder wedding dresses, mantilla veils and many other popular styles. I haven't seen that picture for a few years, but it's forever tucked away in my heart.
My sister said one day Bess let her see her wedding dress and told her that she wanted to be buried in it. That's a good sign she was happy, but I don't think she was buried in her wedding dress.

Another clue is that Irvin had a pet name for Bess. He always called her, “Bessie B., my wife, Mrs. Keith.A cheap mother of the bride dresses is the most formal female attire for social occasions.” I'm sure they had some ups and downs like any marriage. My Uncle Elbert said you could always tell when they were fighting because Bess would be sitting in the back seat when they drove by on their way home.
Irvin died in 1951 and Bess had to learn to drive. She got a black 1949 four door Chrysler that was really hard to shift. Her old car blew away when a tornado hit her farm, but her house still stands on the hill where she once lived.Beautiful Bridesmaids Dresses

If you would like to see Bessie's pillow, you can visit the lobby of the Ray County Courthouse and see it first hand. You will also find some quilting items, Easter treasures and Bess's doll.
Bess may be gone, but she'll never be forgotten because I still remember “my neighbor and friend, Bessie B.”

The Dunedin Public Art Gallery has meticulously stitched together an exhibition of sewing projects reflecting the personal fashion choices of Dunedinites.Rina di Montella

Gallery spokesman Tim Pollock said an incredible variety of personal garments sewn at home by high-profile Dunedinites have transformed the touring New Zealand Fashion Museum Home Sewn exhibition.La Femme dress

Showing at the gallery from Saturday until April 7, Home Sewn looks at the evolution of home sewing and documents the changing face of fashion.

Locally-made pieces include the wedding dress of leading Dunedin fashion retailer Diann Waugh (designed and made by herself) and an ensemble designed and sewn by Margot Barton of the Otago Polytechnic School of Design (Fashion).

Waugh's dress is long and flowing. It was made after a visit to London and inspired by the British mid-70s fashion scene. Barton's pieces include jodhpurs and a top crafted from coloured enamelled tiles.long sleeves wedding dress

Home Sewn also includes a piece from London-based milliner Stephen Jones - a 2013 iD guest and judge at this year's iD International Emerging Designers Award.

"That hat is a knock-out," Pollock said. Jones wore the navy and silver trilby to the exhibition of his millinery in New York at the Museum of Modern Art.

Home Sewn also incorporates garments featured fashion designers made for themselves; including Nom*d's Margi Robertson, Mild Red's Donna Tulloch, and Tanya Carlson.

New Zealand Fashion Museum curator Doris de Pont curated the original Home Sewn Exhibition in Auckland last September.

"Doris has been really generous in that she's allowed me to play with [the exhibition] a bit," Pollock said. "I've given it a real injection of Dunedin designers, essentially to link with iD Dunedin because that's such a big thing for Dunedin. There is so much talent in this town. And this is one moment in the year when it can all be presented and celebrated and it's nice to be a part of that.Beautiful Bridesmaids Dresses

Kailyn Lowry has been happily married to her husband Javi Marroquin since their courthouse wedding a few months ago, but that's not stopping her from planning the ultimate bigger-scale shindig this coming fall. The Teen Mom is rockin' a glamtastic wedding band, has received her save-the-dates, and now -- is on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress. Yesterday she went to New York City's very own Kleinfeld Bridal, of Say Yes to the Dress fame, on the hunt for the perfect gown on her sixth-month wedding anniversary. Adorable!

I've gotta admit: I'm jealous. I've only watched every episode of that show a bazillion times and dream of the day when my dream guy proposes to me so I can go in there, try dresses on, someone will tell me I look faaaabulous, and give Randy a high-five.

But did Kailyn buy a dress there? I doubt it. And I doubt I will, either.

I doubt that Kailyn actually made the purchase because, well, mori lee bridesmaid dresses she didn't say anything about it on Twitter. I think it's physically impossible to have appeared on MTV's Teen Mom and not publicly acknowledge every little thing on Twitter. But I also doubt she bought one there because as beautiful as all of the gowns in that salon are, many of them are expensive. VERY expensive. With how big of a wedding she's saying she's going to have, I'm sure they're trying to budget wherever they can -- including the price of her dress. I cannot blame her.

Every girl dreams of that perfect wedding dress. With that said, though, high low prom dresses it is possible to find your dream style at a discounted price. Stores like David's Bridal and J.Crew sell dresses much cheaper than designer outlets.bari jay bridesmaid dresses You could also save money by buying a dress directly off the rack (in other words, a sample), looking at outlet stores, or when all else fails -- attempt to negotiate.Beautiful Bridal Dresses Bridal salons want you to have your dream dress just as much as you do, and are often willing to work out a good deal.

From wedding rings to old Hallmark cards from your ex, there's a lot of relationship stuff to rid yourself of after divorce.

But what are you supposed to do with that wedding dress? Sure,Beautiful The Latest Wedding Dresses it's hanging pristinely in an acid-free box in your closet, but it's still taking up valuable space -- literally and emotionally. On Wednesday, HuffPost Divorce blogger Lisa B. Samalonis wrote about her own post-split purging process, and how hard it was to part with one item -- her wedding gown.

"I chided myself for wasting time mulling over the fate of a dress from a day long gone," Samalonis wrote. "I had already moved past this, hadn't I? My new life -- although difficult at times -- flowed along and yet I still had that wedding dress in my closet."

Samalonis' gown eventually ended up at a Goodwill donation center in New Jersey, but after reading her blog, we couldn't help but wonder if our readers had their own wedding dress tales to tell, so we asked them on Facebook and Twitter.

They didn't disappoint. From the woman who sent her dress down river, to the ex-husband who donated his ex's gown to a local charity, click through the slideshow below for some of our favorite responses, then head to the comments and tell us what you did with your gown!

A sneak peek at the beautiful location and finalists' stunning fashion.

After his eight-week journey, Sean Lowe is finally ready to hand out the final rose on The Bachelor season finale.

More from YourTango: Hollywood's Longest Lasting Power Couples
Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter are looking fabulous in Thailand, as they head to the final rose ceremony, where Sean, looking pretty good himself, might pop the question. (We bet he does!)

The road to love hasn't been so effortless for Sean. The once rejected Bachelorette contestant dealt with his share of drama this season, including Tierra, the woman America loved to hate, a hostile hometown date with Des, and a silent, and very angry, goodbye from AshLee.

Will the lucky lady be Catherine, the 26-year-old graphic designer from Seattle or Lindsay, the 24-year-old Missouri girl who started the season off in a wedding dress?

Take a look at the gallery of behind-the-scenes photos of Sean, Lindsay and Catherine on The Bachelor season finale, which airs in a 3-hour special on Monday, March 11 on ABC.

Yet, sometimes transformation comes via the agency of unanticipated and subordinate actors.mori lee bridesmaid dresses One of the most compelling moments of this type came in 1971 with the advent of so-called ping pong diplomacy, which led communist China away from isolation.

The catalyst for this initiative was an unexpected friendship between an American player, Glenn Cowan (another American free spirit) and the Zhuang Zedong, bari jay bridesmaid dresses the Chinese three-time world champion at a tournament in Japan. When Cowan missed his team bus, he was invited onto the Chinese bus; and after some casual talking through an interpreter, Zhuang Zedong presented him with a silkscreen portrait of the Huangshan Mountains. In exchange, Cowan later gave Zhuang Zedong a t-shirt with a red, white and blue peace emblem and the words "Let It Be".

Chairman Mao Zedong seized on this sideline moment, using it to mobilize a national initiative via the US table tennis team. In April 1971,Beautiful The Latest Wedding DressesBeautiful Bridal Dresses nine American players with a small entourage crossed the bridge from Hong Kong to the Chinese mainland, played in some exhibition matches and toured the major sites in Beijing. These events then facilitated "the week that changed the world" – the 1972 visit of President Richard Nixon to China and its subsequent recognition by the US.

Could Rodman's visit achieve the same galvanizing effect? This seems implausible, given the record of the North Korean regime, with its continued testing of missiles and nuclear weapons. The most conceivable outcome is that Rodman will suffer be stigmatized even more than other anti-diplomats; after all, he applauded a regime that runs gulags amid widespread mass hunger, calling its leader "awesome". But notwithstanding this likelihood, his visit reconfigures what anti-diplomacy can mean, and even points to a possible analogy between successful ping pong diplomacy and Rodman's awkward and contrived basketball diplomacy.high low prom dresses

Last month Randi Zuckerberg, strapless wedding dress Facebook's former marketing director, enthused about a trendy app to "crowdsource absolutely every decision in your life". Called Seesaw, the app lets you run instant polls of your friends and ask for advice on anything: what wedding dress to buy, what latte drink to order and soon, perhaps, what political candidate to support.

Seesaw offers an interesting twist on how we think about feedback and failure. It used to be that we bought things to impress our friends, fully aware that they might not like our purchases. Now this logic is inverted: If something impresses our friends, we buy it. The risks of rejection have been minimised; we know well in advance how many Facebook "likes" our every decision would accumulate.

Jean-Paul Sartre, the existentialist philosopher who celebrated the anguish of decision as a hallmark of responsibility, has no place in Silicon Valley. Whatever their contribution to our maturity as human beings, decisions also bring out pain and, faced with a choice between maturity and pain-minimisation, Silicon Valley has chosen the latter — perhaps as a result of yet another instant poll.

The only exception to the pain-minimisation rule is when pain — or at least discomfort — must be induced to ensure that we behave honestly and consistently.

Take Google Glass, the company's overhyped "smart glasses", which can automatically snap photos of everything we see and store them for posterity. To some, this can finally solve the problem of forgetting, a long-time ambition of many geeks,Beautiful Bridesmaids Dresses who have also been developing stamp-size cameras that can be worn on the lapel of a jacket and snap a picture — at set intervals of time — of things around us.

This idea of obliterating forgetting was laid out by the visionary Microsoft computer scientist Gordon Bell in his highly provocative 2009 book, written with Jim Gemmell, Total Recall: How the E-Memory Revolution Will Change Everything.

Bell promised that new recording technologies would provide us with "enhanced self-insight, the ability to relive one's own life story in Proustian detail, the freedom to memorise less and think creatively more". (Alas, "Proustian" is an inapt adjective: The writer actually opposed what he called a "simple cinematographic vision", which he feared treated memory as nothing but the accumulation of facts, rather than a complex interplay of sensory experiences and storytelling.)

For Bell, these always-on recording devices can make us aware of our faults, of our inconsistencies, of the many lies we tell ourselves and others.

"Successful people don't shy away from the honest record," he wrote. "Imagine being confronted with the actual amount of time you spend with your daughter rather than your rosy accounting of it. Or having your eyes opened to how truly abrasive you were in a conversation." Doctor Freud, meet the iFreud!

Kate Middleton may be staying active during her first-ever pregnancy -- but, thankfully, she declined to go downhill skiing with husband (Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry in the Swiss Alps on Sunday, March 3. One day after the three royals bundled up in daytime formal wear for the wedding of athlete pals Laura Bechtolsheimer and Mark Tomlinson, the pregnant Duchess, 31, went for a much more casual look for a walk through the stunning mountainside at the Arosa resort in Switzerland.

In one of the most pronounced shots yet of the expectant royal's transforming shape, Middleton braved the cold in a short sleeve loose print blouse that gave a glimpse of her growing baby bump plus black skinny jeans and black snowboots. Bearing a striking resemblance to little sister Pippa, Kate kept a serene expression behind sunglasses, with her brown hair held back with a clip.

"She was walking down the hill with three men. A smiling and apparently fit Queen Elizabeth II left hospital on Monday a day after she was admitted with symptoms of gastroenteritis.

The 86-year-old British monarch, wearing a red coat and silver brooch,Asymmetric neckline dress shook hands with medical staff on the steps of the King Edward VII hospital in central London before being driven away by limousine.

Buckingham Palace officials said she had first developed symptoms of the stomach bug on Friday and the decision to take her to hospital was a precautionary measure.

Royal aides suggested at the time she might stay in for a couple of days.

The palace offered no further details on the queen's condition, but confirmed that all her engagements for this week, including a trip to Italy scheduled for March 6-7, remained cancelled or postponed.

It is unusual for the monarch to cancel an engagement.

The head of state, who last year celebrated 60 years on the throne, is known for her robust health. She was last hospitalized in 2003 when she had a knee operation.

News of her latest hospital admission made headlines around the world.

The queen and the royal family have enjoyed a surge in popular support in Britain in recent years, spurred on by the wedding of her grandson Prince William to Kate Middleton in 2011.

How far would you be prepared to go in order to get married?

One couple are so desperate to say 'I do' that they are looking for companies to sponsor their big day so they can get wed for free.

Stacy Burnett, 29, and Daniel Webb, 28, who have been together for two years, had hoped to marry this year.

The bride-to-be even bought her wedding dress and two bridesmaids' outfits in anticipation of booking their nuptials but the rising cost of getting hitched meant they had to put their plans on hold.

In a desperate bid to celebrate their love for one another sooner rather than later, the pair decided to look at alternative ways of making their dream become a reality.

Mum-of-one Stacy, who lives in Barrow Grove, Sittingbourne, said: “I started planning eagerly last year but due to the economic climate it's all had to be put on hold for the foreseeable future.

“My fiancé works full time and we have even moved in with my parents so that we could save.

“We want a church wedding because it's bit more traditional, one shoulder wedding dresses but with church fees, venue fees, catering, rings, suits, DJ even for the most basic of weddings,2013 evening dress it just wasn't possible for us to do it this year.

“We don't want a big fancy wedding but even the most basic of packages is too expensive.

“Doing everything on a budget we reckon it will still cost between 3,000 and 5,500.

“While some couples might not want to get married in 2013 because they're a little superstitious we'd love to get married this year - after all, we just want to say 'I do'.

“We would even be willing to have any advertising for any companies that would be kind enough to help us out.”

The pair say they are happy to sit down and discuss ideas with the individual businesses about how they can advertise the services they provide them with on the day.

Miss Burnett said: “We'd be willing to talk about signs on my dress and the back of suits, all we'd ask is that they could be removed for photographs.”

Bargain hunting brides rejoice! Kitty & Dulcie have released a new wedding dress collection, and not only are the gowns lovely, they all cost less than 400.

It was a little goofy, but also fitting, to see Martin Short make a Peter Pan-style arrival at the inaugural Canadian Screen Awards Sunday night.

The event really was a high-wire act for him, and also for Canadian film and television, in a show that sometimes awkwardly balanced between a desire to entertain and a need to make important statements.

The new CSAs, which combine national film and TV prizes and replace the separate Genies and Geminis ceremonies, could have been either a shotgun marriage or a match made in heaven.

It's closer to the latter, and well-chosen emcee Short helped make it feel that way with irreverent songs and zingers that hit more often than they missed.
He made fun of all aspects of Canada, a country the Hamilton-born comic proudly called “the greatest country on the face of the Earth.”

Short was lifted by wire over the audience at Toronto's Sony Centre, singing a parody tune set to Fly Me to the Moon as he pretended to be leering down ladies' dresses.dessy bridesmaid dresses
Any thought that he might be attempting to out-gross Oscars host Seth MacFarlane quickly vanished (although a bizarre quip about Gordon Pinsent having a “nice rack” came close).
Short knew his Canuck audience, in the room and nationally on CBC-TV, would love a joke about Argo's Best Picture win last week at the Oscars, being an American film about a Canadian rescue story.

“It's always great to be home. I flew in on Air Canada — or as Ben Affleck calls it, American Airlines.”
But Short also worked it the other way around.one shoulder wedding dresses He slyly praised the “originality” of Canadian TV before introducing several stars of The Bachelor Canada and Real Housewives of Vancouver, both Canuck knock-offs of U.S.Beautiful Ball Gown Wedding dresses shows.

Short wasn't the only Canadian making funny. Alan Thicke, arriving on stage to present an award,Beautiful Favorable Wedding Dresses cracked “I'm here because I'm the affordable (William) Shatner.”
Yet there's only so many laughs you can wring out of an event that occasionally seemed too determined to be serious. Sarah Polley, winner of the Best Documentary prize for her acclaimed family film StoriesWeTell, showed up with a long list of people she wanted to thank, and a strange remark about CBC's Dragon's Den capitalist kingpin Kevin O'Leary, rather than just saying something meaningful from the heart.

But to be fair, how could the awards not have been a little preoccupied with matters of weighty concern, in a night where top movie Rebelle (War Witch), a powerful drama about child fighters in the Congo, won 10 awards?

Rebelle director Kim Nguyen used his acceptance speech to chide Canadian financiers that they need to “be morally responsible and be proud of what you've invested in.”
On the plus side, the stage was as good or better than anything we've ever seen at a Canadian awards show, bright without being gaudy.

And it was nice to see well-loved Quebec actress Geneviève Bujold receive a standing ovation just for showing up. James Cromwell, her co-star in the still-unreleased drama Still Mine, had earlier won for best film actor.

On the downside, some work is needed on show pacing — more than a few winners had to be played off by the band — and it looks like the Teleprompter wasn't firing on all cylinders.

Even professional funny guys like actor/writer Jay Baruchel (Goon) managed to muff their lines.2013 prom dress Whatever he was trying to say about his hometown Montreal, the Mafia and road repair never quite came off.

“The joke is that Montreal is crooked and Toronto isn't . . . of course, we do have more Stanley Cups than you guys!” Jay Baruchel said, trying to recover.
All things considered, the first Canadian Screen Awards was a night to remember, even if we Canucks still need to remember to lighten up a bit. Rough spots will be smoothed out in years to come.

And as Martin Short reminded us with his smiling sign-off, “It's better to have loved a Short than never to have loved a tall.”

Dozens of people made complaints last year about sketchy vendors on the wedding circuit. Can I trust buying a Hot dress online ?

Now is the time many engaged couples are beginning to plan their wedding.

Since the average wedding costs more than $15,000 the Better Business Bureau advises engaged couples and their families to make wise consumer decisions when planning a wedding,

Companies should have a portfolio for you to browse.

Mark Fernandes with the BBB says you shouldn't feel rushed into making decisions. ‘A lot of the times vendors will put the onus on you to commit right away because their schedules are filling up. You want to know what you're getting into so take a step back, don't give into high pressure sales tactics. Check the company out.”

“Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.”

So goes the age-old wedding rhyme, but if Sunday's Bridal Expo was anything to go by, all four of these boxes could be ticked with just one word - vintage.

Whether it be the bride's dress, transport, table decorations or lingerie, vintage was the word du jour.

“Everything old is new again,Sleeveless Satin simple plus size wedding dresses with short sleeves with Slim Skirt Style 81047.” Primrose Vintage Lace and Trim's Tracey Tullier said.

“A lot of people like vintage because they want to use a heirloom piece, but they don't know how to put in a modern look.”

Ms Tullier said vintage-themed table decorations, headpieces and fascinators were some of the most popular items her business sold, and some brides were also embracing the theme with mismatched or “crazy” sets of second hand crockery.

Demure wedding dresses harking back to days gone by are a big seller for Brides of Beecroft owner Wendy McGregor.

“Lots of girls are looking for vintage dresses or French lace gowns,” she said.

“They want that slim-line, simple and elegant vintage look. They're quite timeless and they don't date.”

Mrs McGregor said many brides were trying to emulate Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's look when she married Prince William, with higher necklines and either capped or three-quarter length sleeves.

“People get sick and tired of strapless gowns,” she said.

“They want something more demure. You want THE chiffon bridesmaid dress that lives up to all you?”

The vintage theme is also spilling over to wedding transport,Choose from wide range of Bridal gown to buy online. with budget-conscious brides looking to combine special family cars with hired cars in a bid to cut down on costs.

Blue Ribbon Wedding Cars' Maria Matthews said family members often had special cars hidden away, which they could loan to the bride and groom in lieu of a gift.

She said it was more common for cars to be booked for earlier in the day now most brides have their photos taken before the marriage service while their hair and make-up is fresher.

“The whole wedding day has changed now,” she said.

“It's more about the bride being comfortable.”

One aspect of weddings where the vintage trend is yet to make an impact is the rings for the bride and groom, with Regency Jewellers' manager Jo Clark saying it still comes down to personal choice.

“There is such a wide variety. People who have inherited an engagement ring might go for the vintage look,”she said.

She said the expo provided the perfect opportunity for brides to drag their husbands-to-be along to pick out a ring for him.Browse hundreds of beautiful lace short bridesmaids dress china and find the perfect fit for you!

While white gold with diamonds remained in demand, she said yellow gold was still popular.

Ms Clark said many visitors commented on what a great venue the PCYC had been for the bridal expo.

Organiser Debbie Campbell said it was one of the biggest and busiest expos she had been to and brides-to-be appreciated the convenience of being able to see so much under one roof.

With a saffron turban and a flowing white beard, 101-year-old Fauja Singh finished the Hong Kong Marathon’s 6.25-mile race, making him the oldest marathoner in the world. Nicknamed the Turbaned Torpedo, the Indian-born runner finished the race in 1 hour, 32 minutes and 28 seconds. Singh says he will now hang up his sneakers. “I will remember this day. I will miss it,” Singh said minutes after crossing the finish line.

IT WAS the worst-kept secret in Adelaide when Federal Child Care Minister Kate Ellis and Sunday Mail editor David Penberthy wed on Saturday.

The couple thanked their family, friends and high-profile guests - including Premier Jay Weatherill - for feigning surprise when they turned their engagement party into a relaxed wedding in their Adelaide backyard.

"We thought about what was important to us and it wasn't stress or anticipation but just getting married in a laid-back fashion surrounded by the people that we love," Ms Ellis said. You want THE chiffon bridesmaid dress that lives up to all you?

Penberthy added: "It really was a terrific night. It was great fun just filling up the house with our nearest and dearest mates and our families.

"We are not sure if it was the best-kept secret but everyone was polite enough to feign surprise on arrival."

To calm any pre-wedding jitters, it was business as usual before the wedding for Ms Ellis who opened a childcare centre in Broadview.

Penberthy's two children were the only members of the bridal party.

When freshman Sen. Ted Cruz attracted attention for his suggestive grilling of President Barack Obama’s nominee for defense secretary, Chuck Hagel, the New Yorker’s Jane Mayer wondered, ”Is Senator Ted Cruz Our New McCarthy?” Mayer drew attention to a speech that Cruz, a former Harvard Law School student, gave two and a half years ago in which he said 12 Harvard Law School professors “were Marxists who believed in the Communists overthrowing the United States government.Sleeveless Satin simple plus size wedding dresses with short sleeves with Slim Skirt Style 81047.” In it, he also explained that President Obama “would have made a perfect president of Harvard Law School” because “there were fewer declared Republicans in the faculty when we were there than Communists!”

Through a spokeswoman, Cruz has responded to the story, and stands by the claims he made in his speech. The New Yorker reports:

“His spokeswoman Catherine Frazier told The Blaze website that the ‘substantive point’ in Cruz’s charge, made in a speech in 2010, was ‘was absolutely correct.Choose from wide range of Bridal gown to buy online.’

She went on to explain that “the Harvard Law School faculty included numerous self-described proponents of ‘critical legal studies’—a school of thought explicitly derived from Marxism—and they far outnumbered Republicans.’ “

Mayer clarifies:

“As my story noted, the Critical Legal Studies group consisted of left-leaning professors like Duncan Kennedy, who is a social democrat, not a Communist, and has never ‘believed in the overthrow of the U.S.Browse hundreds of beautiful lace short bridesmaids dress china and find the perfect fit for you! Robb London, a spokesman for Harvard Law School, told the New Yorker that the school is “puzzled” by Cruz’s statements.

Nothing says a Brooklyn wedding like food trucks, vintage fascinators and sustainably sourced flowers.

Wedding Crashers is heading to Carroll Gardens on March 10 from noon to 4 p.m. for its fourth wedding fair for "the couple seeking a creative, original wedding."

The fair, hosted at The Green Building at 452 Union St., will feature more than 50 wedding vendors including caterers, floral designers, wedding planners, bands and more — all keeping the Brooklyn bride and groom in mind.

"No matter what your budget, from high-end to DIY," couples will find all the trimmings they need for their nuptials, said Nicole Davis, publisher of Brooklyn Based, which is organizing the event.

Last year's fair drew more than 300 people to the warehouse-style wedding hall in Carroll Gardens. Davis believes Wedding Crashers is different from typical wedding fairs because of the amount of food that will be served, from hors-d'oeuvres to cakes to cocktails.

But in true Wedding Crashers style,Shop the latest Foral gown on the world's largest fashion site. it doesn't end there. Couples can head to an after-party at the Bell House in Gowanus, where nine bands will perform live. There will also be free shuttle service to the party in vintage NYC cabs, courtesy New York Checker.

For the first time, Brooklyn Based will also be hosting three additional wedding salons for a hip journey down the aisle.

Wedding Trunk Show
With all the food and wine to be tasted at the fair, there's "little room for fashion," said Davis. This year, they're hosting "a mini fair devoted to fashion" with gown and jewelry designers, makeup artists, and boutiques specializing in veils and fascinators. There will even be a service that offers to recycle old wedding dresses to let the white gowns go green.

Wedding Planning 101
Five wedding experts will help brides- and grooms-to-be "put together the wedding you have in mind," said Davis. They'll be answering questions on trends, etiquette, and styling the big day for gay and straight couples.A bridal gown wedding dress is the clothing worn by a bride during a wedding ceremony.

My engagement to Claude lasted less than three years. While Francoise's lawsuit against Picasso's estate was being settled, she bought me a wedding dress. A year later, when he refused to answer the question, "When are we getting married?" I left him.

The Citroen Xsara Picasso, was put on the European market, featuring ugliest design in the world. It was so bad that Marina Picasso, the artist's granddaughter and Claude's niece, challenged the deal in court.

"I cannot tolerate that the name of my grandfather be used to sell something as banal as a car," she told a French newspaper. "He was a genius who is now being exploited outrageously. His name, his very soul, should not be used for any ends other than his art."

Did Picasso, in refusing to leave a will, know what was to come: that Claude would sell his father's name while Paloma would exploit it. Did either of them ever respect Pablo, or did they just value him for his possessions?

Drew Barrymore left hubby Will Kopelman and her baby girl at home last night to check out some jewels in Beverly Hills.

And not just any jewels. Barrymore stepped out to have a look at eight pieces of Elizabeth Taylor's Bulgari jewelry that were on display at the Italian jewelry house's Rodeo Drive flagship store.

While Barrymore gushed over the exquisite collection,A Pick-up gown is a style that many are using now! she says she'll be a bit careful about exposing four-month-old daughter Olive to the world of expensive bling.

Get the scoop on Olivia Munn's pre-Oscar party

"I'm trying to get her priorities in the right place," she said. "But you know what, if and when she decides to get into girlier things I will introduce her to the wonderful world of things like Elizabeth Taylor's jewels!"

So what went else went down at the very chic soiree? Here's the scoop.A bridal gown wedding dress is the clothing worn by a bride during a wedding ceremony...Browse hundreds of beautiful high neck wedding dresses and find the perfect fit for you!

Diamond Girls: Joining Barrymore were Kirsten Dunst, Naomi Watts, Kate Walsh and Julianne Moore, who had the honor of wearing Taylor's iconic $6.1 million emerald and diamond necklace that Richard Burton gave her for their wedding in 1964.

"A girl gets a little giddy anytime she walks around precious stones like these," Watts said.

Find out what Jennifer Lawrence has to say about her Oscar dress

Weather or Not: Cold temperatures and rain didn't dampen the spirit. Ushers held umbrellas over guests as they made their way from their cars into the party.

When in Rome: After drooling over checking out the baubles, about 60 VIPs were treated to a private rooftop dinner. Long tables were covered with pristine white linens and flower arrangements included lemons and roses. Music was by performance duo, DJ Mia Moretti and electric violinist Caitlin Mo.

That '70s Show: Instead of a dress,Please note that we have changed our name from Rina di Montella Studio Wearhouse! Barrymore opted for black Max Mara pants and a cream top. "I was sort of feeling like a little bit groovy '70s woman out on the town," she beamed.

Speaking of Dresses: Watts, who is nominated for an Oscar for her work in The Impossible, said she still doesn't know what she'll be wearing on Sunday. "We tend to pull it together at the last minute," she said.

"Really?" said her fellow boaster. "Mine was well over a hundred, but we did organise the flooring to be brought in from an old chateau in France.Shop the latest Foral gown on the world's largest fashion site." That was back in the day when the Celtic Tiger was roaring and we were all riding on its back. We wore our purchases like badges. We bought into the notion that bigger was better and expensive was a must.

It didn't matter a bit that we couldn't afford something. "Ah sure, the banks are giving it out like lollipops," we'd say. Why would we worry about actual money when credit was so in vogue?

We only knew our neighbours by what type of car they had and, more importantly, how many were lined up in their driveways.

We were too busy either making money or spending it to take time out for a chat.

I remember having a conversation with somebody about a forthcoming wedding. "I'm getting my dress made," she said. "I'd be afraid someone else would turn up in the same one."

I was appalled. Imagine getting a dress made when she was simply a guest at the wedding. How showy was that? But in a typical 'keeping up with the Joneses' turn of events, I may even have engaged the services of a dressmaker myself.

A lot of the consignment dresses have come into the store from other towns. Eckels said there is a "good chance you are going to get one that no one will recognize."

Hughes encourages people to check out the Flower Cart for their special occasion arrangements.

"We offer fresh-quality flowers," Hughes said. "We make them to the best of our ability."

After last week's very argumentative mid-season premiere, “Home” The Governor (David Morrissey) retaliated in a big way, catching Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) group off-guard. Here are some of the biggest moments of the episode and their importance moving forward.

1. The Governor on offense
Just when we were beginning to like Axel (Lew Temple), the Governor turned him into swiss cheese and put some genuine fear into Rick and the group, mandarin collar dress shooting up the perimeter of the prison. As Carol (Melissa McBride) hid behind Axel's body to shield herself from the spray of bullets, honorable to the end, the Governor managed to get a guy up in one of the watchtowers and put a mysterious driver to deliver a 20-piece McWalker meal deal into the grass. I thought it was odd that they covered up the van driver, to make some viewers wonder if it was Andrea (Laurie Holden), but there's no way he is able to get her to turn on her friends like that. What the Governor found out was Michonne can't shoot a gun to save her life–a welcomed change from Rick's deadliest assassins–and aside from Rick and the Dixons, there isn't much resistance, making the prison that much more desirable to him. The Governor was turned on by the violence, the domination, and the assurance that they don't have tanks. You knew this was coming, even after he calmed Andrea down. If he wanted to, he could take down the prison easily especially with Rick in his funk.

2. Woodbury Under New Management
The Governor playing the “We need you.Rina di Montella” card to Andrea and it's working. That goes to show you how different Rick treated Andrea that she would even consider staying in Woodbury the minute she found out it was Rick and the others who broke into Woodbury. She just wants to be wanted. She never got that from Rick's group, and she also sees all of these sheltered, clueless residents of Woodbury with nowhere to go once the Governor decides to dump them. Of course it's really Milton (Dallas Roberts) who is left in charge and he has to be the biggest flaw in the Governor's plan. Andrea's going to make an attempt to come back to her friends in the upcoming episode but will her place ultimately be with the people of Woodbury? Let's hope not, and hopefully Andrea will start mirroring her path in the comics. She's had a few opportunities though to leave Woodbury high and dry and that has me worried she hasn't.

3. Rick's Still Cuckoo For Cocoa Puffs
Chasing visions of Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) into the woods is not how you want to see your leader and while he's not so sure of himself, Rick's decision-making days are numbered.wholesale bridal wedding gowns He's alienating people who can help, he's scaring off those he fought to protect, and now while he was dancing with ghosts, the group suffered their biggest attack by another group of survivors and had one of their walls breached. We're not sure what happened to Tyrese's (Chad L. Coleman) group but it's time they welcome him and his sister back. The only one who is making clear decisions right now is Hershel and that's because he's had enough of a chance to rest. Now series creator Robert Kirkman said on Talking Dead that the visions of Lori are not her ghost, but manifestations of Rick's psyche whenever something good is presented to him, for example, Judith, Tyrese, and Michonne. Those moments remind Rick of a happier place, and that is why Lori appears in what may be her wedding dress. What will pull him out? Carl smacking some sense? Another loss in the camp? If he's manifesting Lori when good things come his way, what made him think about Shane?

4. Glenn's chance to lead
Maggie (Lauren Cohan) wanted it, and now we're finally seeing Glenn in a leadership role. It's too bad he's being so aggressive and angry that he's not thinking clearly. He still wants to prove to Maggie that he can protect her, to make up for what he was unable to do. He turned her interrogation with the Governor into his suffering moment and that's where he keeps going wrong. It's not about him and yet that's all Glenn can see, since he was made to look like a fool. Maggie understood the stakes and was left with no choice, still, the last thing she wants is to be treated like a victim.

Someone has to choose for this group though: stay, leave, or take the fight to Woodbury. There's an eye for an eye thing going on here. So Glenn is eventually going to work this out, but only after he does something drastic. It wouldn't surprise me if he retaliates and finds a way to lure walkers into Woodbury. They have a new pickup truck. A massacre at Woodbury would give Andrea an easy opportunity to come back to the group. Given all the changes that have gone on though, would she want to come back?

5. Daryl redeems himself
This show couldn't have its audience stay mad at its favorite character. That's why Daryl was given a chance to play hero, twice and at the same time back his brother, Merle (Michael Rooker) up against a wall and remind him which of them is the jerk. Daryl saves strangers from a fleet of walkers, with a fantastic kill shot slamming the trunk of a hatchback onto a Walker's head. What I found interesting was that the group did make an impact on Daryl as he told his brother off. Merle's the one who cut his own hand, he's the one who was stupid enough to get handcuffed to the roof of a building. He's the bigot. etc. Of course Daryl makes it back to the prison in time to save Rick and Merle is alongside, which means he has to be welcomed into the group, and that transition will not be smooth. At least he can resume whatever spark he had with Carol who no longer has to feel guilty flirting with Axel. The Dixon brothers are back, but will they be enough?

We also saw the abuse scars on Daryl's back inflicted by their father. It was something shared between the brothers and allows viewers to understand why Merle is how he is, and Daryl was given a second chance in his new family. The one thing they don't share is Daryl's magically moving tattoo, which was on the right side of his back in one shot, and on the left in another. Oops.

6.ball gown Michonne unleashed
It wasn't much, but Michonne had to play it cool since she's not welcomed by crazy Rick. As we said, she's not good with a gun, but in this world, specializing is probably going to keep you alive in most cases, especially when you don't have to worry about reloading.Pick-up gown She was hacking up zombie skulls like she was playing Fruit Ninja in the high grass. Seeing Glenn walk up to her and ask her for her advice was a team-up I wouldn't have expected, but right now these two are riding high off emotion, directed towards the Governor. Let's hope their next move involves less guns, and Glenn deciding to do a perimeter check on his own. Once she gets full brought into the group–and she will–with or without Andrea, she's going to be the toast of the group. This was a big improvement over last week, just give us more!

Before Elvis and Chuck Berry and Johnny Cash. Before Aretha and Whitney and Beyonce. Before the blues met gospel and conceived rock 'n' roll, there was Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

The first gospel superstar, Tharpe was a guitar hero in a flower-print dress whose bluesy chops and strutting style would be mimicked by countless acolytes, both white and black.

“I mean, she's singing religious music, but she is singing rock 'n' roll,” said one such devotee, Jerry Lee Lewis, of “Great Balls of Fire” fame. “She's hitting that guitar, playing that guitar, and she is singing. I said,Rina di Montella 1512 'Whoooo. Sister Rosetta Tharpe!'”

Though no longer a household name, faux fur wraps Tharpe gets the star treatment in a new documentary for the PBS series “American Masters.” “Sister Rosetta Tharpe: The Godmother of Rock & Roll” will be broadcast Friday (Feb. 22) on PBS in honor of Black History Month.

The documentary offers an overdue coda to an unsung influence on American music. Tharpe died in 1973, and until 2008 her Philadelphia grave lay unmarked. But without the “original soul sister,” rock might never have rolled, says Tharpe biographer Gayle Wald.
“When you see Elvis Presley singing early songs in his career, I think you can imagine that he is channeling Rosetta Tharpe,” Wald says in the PBS documentary. “It's not an image we're used to thinking about when we think about rock 'n' roll history. We don't think about the black woman behind the young white man.”

Born in 1921 in Cotton Plant, Ark., by age 6 Tharpe was playing tabernacles and tent revivals with her mother, an itinerant evangelist in the Church of God in Christ. If a Pentecostal fire kindled the congregation, the talented tot often fanned the flames.

“When she came and they saw the freedom she expressed in her singing and dancing, it woke up the congregation,” says COGIC Pastor Robert Hargrove in “Sister Rosetta Tharpe.”

But after divorcing a pastor who treated her more like a meal ticket than a helpmate, Tharpe set out for New York City, where she joined a big band and jammed with the likes of Duke Ellington and Cab Calloway. “Singer Swings Same Songs in Church and Night Club,” reads a Life magazine headline from 1939.

Recording hits like Thomas Dorsey's “This Train,Foral gown” Tharpe became the first gospel singer to cross the divide between spiritual and secular music.Beautiful Lace Dresses She also sang saucier songs, to the chagrin of her churchgoing fans.

“It was like a bomb dropped on gospel music when she flipped,” says Ira Tucker Jr., whose father, a member of the gospel group The Dixie Hummingbirds, toured with Tharpe. “They viewed it almost like a death. 'Rosetta, she's gone, she went over.'”

Tharpe returned to her gospel roots, however, and stayed so famous that 20,000 paying fans crowded into Washington's Griffith Stadium to watch her third wedding, in 1951. Still in her gown, the bride played electric guitar from a stage in center field.

Though Tharpe's singing sold records, it was her blues-fueled guitar riffs that inspired upcoming axemen like Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend and Jeff Beck.long sleeves wedding dress

“She was a powerful force of nature, a guitar-playing singer and evangelist,” Bob Dylan has said. “There were a lot of young English guys who picked up the guitar after getting a look at her.”

The racks of dresses at Diva Donations in North Lima are getting more crowded by the day.

The dress shop is the first lending boutique in the Valley. The shop loans out many different types of special occasion dresses within the price range of $25 to $50.

"We loan dresses for prom,Beautiful Mermaid Wedding Dresses weddings and father-daughter dances," said Owner Kristin Bodendorfer. "And we loan dresses to people who might not financially be able to go into a store and purchase a brand new dress."

Bodendorfer started Diva Donations in 2012 in her daughter's apartment, with only 15 dresses.

Inventory now includes about 1,cheap mother of the bride dresses200 dresses and two locations. Bodendorfer said the boutique was more than just an impulsive idea she came up with one day.

"This was something God basically placed on my heart," she said. "Diva Donations stands for divinely inspired, virtuously acquired."

Bodendorfer had gone through a tough time with her daughter on at least one occasion when she needed a dress and money was tight.

"So, I thought there are other people out there going through that same thing," she said.

Diva Donations now has boxes filled with brand new and used dresses being shipped over every day.

Lori Everly, of Columbiana, was driving through the area and decided to drop off a prom dress and wedding dress.

"This one was about $600, not including the shoes," said Everly.

In addition to the North Lima location, Diva Donations also has a Warren boutique. And with the way things are going,Off the Shoulder cocktail dresses they'll soon need to open another location.pageant dress

"We have a lot of schools that are doing dress drives for us right now," Bodendorfer said.

The boutique is open by appointment only. The owner will be extending hours for the upcoming prom season.

Tamra's Puerto Vallarta weekend and her wedding dress shopping have also been filmed for RHOC's eighth season but Tamra said the wedding won't be aired as part of the show. But she was quick to add that doesn't mean it won't be televised.

"Maybe," Tamra said of us getting to see the wedding elsewhere on T.V. "Obviously I've lived my life under the camera - getting married, getting divorced, being a single mother and moving on - so I feel the need to share that with people.one shoulder wedding dresses I'm not a person who really hides."

She noted Eddie on the other hand is "more private" and could do without the glaring spotlight.

Tamra wouldn't reveal the exact wedding date but she said the marriage will take place sometime in the summer. A location hasn't been pinned down. She added she and Eddie are considering "anywhere from Malibu Beach to Laguna Beach."

For now Tamra definitely seems to be getting ready for a perfect closeup just in case. She hasn't settled on a dress yet but she's decided the designer will be Mark Zunino of Beverly Hills.

Tamra said to expect the wedding to have a "European flair."

What does Tamra's difficult ex - Simon - think of all of this? The last time we saw the exes together on the show it wasn't pretty.
